1st dive.
Dive Site: Cozumel, Palancar Gardens.
Water Conditions: Easy current, small swell on the surface, 60-70 feet visibility, water temperature 80 F approximately
Max Depth: 80 feet / 24 meters

The dive was pretty awesome starting like usually on shallow checking everything was fine, weights, gas, gear, awareness, and then we head towards the Palancar wall, where we went into the beautiful swim throughs observing the sponges, the colors and big pinnacles full of color and life, once in a while a big pink snapper or yellow one showing off around the protected areas of the reef. Beautiful Caribbean Jawfish showing himself out of his cove for us while we were passing by to get to another interesting ocean swim through to come out into the blue of the wall and spot a nice Hawksbill baby turtle feeding from the reef and seeking protection from the reef.
After that at aprox minute 45 we went to the shallows preparing to make our safety stop to get later on onboard our boat.
2nd dive
Dive Site : La Francesa
Max Depth : 60 feet / 18 meters

Water Conditions: Easy current, small swell on the surface, 60-70 feet visibility, water temperature 80 F approximately
We started the dive in front of Palancar Restaurant, the usual landmark for the beginning of La Francesa and right away we spotted a juvenile beautiful Nurse Shark, seeming sleeping after the next group pass by it swan away in a majestic way. We continue on and at around 60 feet we located an awesome character known locally as the endemic Splendid Toadfish, showing his barbs and a little bit of curious towards us but juvenile and shy to go back to it´s den. Little bit ahead drifting with the current nice and easy this day we spotted huuuge Caribbean Lobsters, a beauriful and tiny Drum Fish alone into the sponges swimming like crazy trying to get some food. We continue drifting into this amazinf dive spot to locate a nice Queen Trigerfih, some Black Durgeons and schools of Horse Eye Jacks. When we thought that was all,, a big mama Nurse Shark appeared of the side of the reef, very laidback, showing off its gills and letting us know that was his reef. =).
